NAOI is a nonprofit corporation established in 2004 and qualifies as a charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All gifts and bequests to the corporation are deductible for U.S. and state income, estate and gift tax purposes.

Individual Membership

Education Membership

With an NAOI Education Membership, you will be helping to provide avalanche awareness and outdoor safety and environmental awareness education programs for young people and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. Your school will receive priority access to current, hands on curricula that includes professional instructors, educational activities and resource materials that will enable you to enhance and reinforce the training. Our curriculum adheres to Alaska School Standards and GLEs and offers suggestions for what subjects are most appropriate to incorporate these activities. Additionally, you will receive:
